Jennifer B. ColinAssociate Jennifer Colin joined Stackpole & French in 2001 upon graduating from Vermont Law School with her J.D. degree. Jennifer has successfully litigated various types of cases for corporate, nonprofit, and individual clients, and represents clients in alternative dispute resolution proceedings and local and state administrative proceedings. Jennifer also advises various organizations with litigation avoidance techniques by reviewing contracts and business practices and providing staff training in legal areas.

Jennifer works closely with clients in developing problem-solving strategies and creative solutions to challenging legal disputes. Her attention to detail, strong work ethic, and legal advocacy skills enable her to represent individuals and businesses in a variety of legal areas, including contract disputes, collections, commercial litigation, real and personal property disputes, construction litigation, probate matters, environmental court cases, local zoning issues, state permit proceedings, and general civil litigation.

Jennifer is from a small Texas town called Ozona. She graduated from Texas Tech University in 1995 with a B.A. in Spanish and a B.A. in English. Jennifer taught Spanish at The Woodlands High School in The Woodlands, Texas until starting Vermont Law School in 1998. While attending law school, Jennifer interned at the Vermont Supreme Court and worked at the Vermont Law School Legal Clinic. Jennifer is a member of the Vermont Bar Association and Vermont Trial Lawyers Association. She also serves as a hospice volunteer for Lamoille Home Health and Hospice.
